Knauf Moisture Resistant Gypsum Boards (MR) are gypsum wallboards manufactured specifically for use in areas of humidity and exposure to moisture.

Knauf gypsum boards are manufactured from high quality gypsum, with a purity of not less than 95% Stringent quality control procedures apply to the manufacturing process, in full compliance with EN ISO 9001:2000 and BS1230: Part1: 1985.

Features and Benefits:

The paper surface liner is treated to inhibit mould growth.

Hydrophobic boards impregnated against absorption of moisture.

Application Areas:

Same application areas as the
Knauf RG board however Knauf
MR board is primarily used in
bathrooms, kitchens and similar
humid areas where there’s
exposure to moisture. Tiles up to
12,5mm thickness and 32 kg/m²
can be applied on the Knauf MR
board surface.
Stud spacing should be reduced to
400mm centers in tiling areas.
